[Warden Filter + Doyle - backdated to After Alex's Post]

I want to make one thing explicitly clear: Ben was not responsible for the attack on Dr. Kozak. He's been thoroughly cleared, and it's fairly evident that someone is trying to frame him for the act. Rhade and several other people are investigating the matter thoroughly, and if anyone has any further information, we would appreciate hearing it.

[And anyone who goes after Ben anyway will have quite a bit of hell rained down on them. B(]

[CTS Spam for Erik, Jean and Alex]

so come on, put on your war paint )

[Charles has not exactly been having the best week of his life, although really, it could also easily be said that he hasn't been having the best year, even if this one has been particularly bad. He's been worrying about Morgana and more or less crashing on Erik's couch for the better part of the week, so he looks a little tired and drawn when he first turns on the video feed.

Still, he smiles and it looks genuine, because he really is sort of interested by this sort of thing. It's annoying that they don't have much explanation as to how the Barge actually works, but it certainly ups the mystique a little bit, as well as the scientific curiosity.]

This is Professor Charles Xavier. If there's anyone out there interested in talking with me, I'd appreciate hearing from you, and I'd especially be interested in hearing if the house has burned down in my absence. [It's a joke, he has (slightly) more faith in the three of you than that.

But seriously, Alex did you burn down the house. :|]

[Warden Filter]

[The smile's gone by the time he switches the filter, and again he just looks tired rather than angry or indignant.]

I would appreciate hearing what exactly happened with Morgana and Jefferson, specifically regarding who took her down to Level Zero. [He isn't asking to argue with the decision, but at the same time, it's been difficult to choke down all the assorted feelings involved with the Vanquish port, and does want to know how long she'll be down there.]

[Private to Merlin]

I have something I'd like to be able to discuss with you.

[Private to Tosh]

[So. Why can he kinda sort of feel you in your room but no one else except Tony. :|a]

... Is there something you wanted to talk about?

[ooc: Also Erik might threadjack some stuff instead of putting up his own post if people want him because lmfao so many posts. :c]

[Charles is sitting in his office, which looks both neat and a little cluttered, and looks more or less exactly the same as he does on the Barge, although without the wheelchair, since there was no getting shot on a beach in Cuba in this world. He's been grading papers, which are neatly stacked off to the side and a little hidden from the camera, so you can't see how your classmates have been doing.]

I suppose we should count ourselves fortune the earthquake didn't seem to cause any damage. Unfortunately - for some of you, I suppose - I plan on holding classes as usual, which means I hope you've all studied for your quiz this afternoon. [He's teasing a little bit, the quiz won't be that hard and they all know it, but seriously guys you're not getting a free pass out of this. You need to know how things like evolution happened instead of just saying a wizard did it.]

For anyone who missed my last announcement, we'll be doing Mary Zimmerman's adaptation of Ovid's Metamorphoses this fall, and again, auditions are at three o'clock on Friday. and I still haven't made a final decision on the musical, so if anyone has any suggestions - that aren't Oklahoma!, thank you very much, Mr. Lensherr, that joke's gotten a bit tired - feel free to bring them up with me. I've been considering a few adaptations of The Fountain of Fair Fortune or Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific, but nothing's quite jumped out to me just yet.

Set work begins for Metamorphoses in two weeks, but the first meeting for the technical crews is this Saturday in the auditorium at two, if any newcomers are interested in getting involved. Please be reminded that part of the meeting will be a seminar on safely enchanting set pieces and props, and other important details to keep this a fun, safe production for anyone involved.

[ooc: Charles Xavier was a student at Floodholme several years ago, went on to get like three different degrees in things just because he could and decided to come back to teach here with your flying teacher, who's bff since freshman year. He was in Cockrel, was kind of a show offy know it all who nevertheless was suave and popular with the ladies and had his moments of being a douche. He's a talented wizard, but he's here to teach you all biology and run the theater program after school. He's that teacher who seems like a huge softy and does really care about his students - and thus is fairly popular - but also isn't afraid to push them hard academically. He writes killer college recommendations, and you're free to call him Professor X if you so desire. It caught on a while ago and the name seems to have stuck.

Oh, he's also a really talented legilimens, but only a handful of people know about it. With great power comes great responsibility and everything.]
