However angry she'll be, I can't blame her. I'd say I can't imagine how it must feel to be all alone with a gift that feels like a curse but...I can. I know exactly how that feels. That just makes it worse.

It sounds like you were both in an extremely unfortunate situation. I can understand why she'd be upset with you, but you were trying to help her.

I made it worse! I put the druids I sent her to in terrible danger - Uther thought she'd been kidnapped, he sent Arthur and his men...

People were killed because I couldn't just be honest with her.

Merlin, you didn't know that was going to happen. You were trying to help her. You couldn't have known exactly how things were going to turn out, but your intentions were good.

That's not enough.

We've all made mistakes, Merlin. At least we're in a place that gives us a chance to make up for them.
