I said he would need some training first. I never said he wasn't allowed, or that his abilities or his life experiences or whatever else made him unqualified and that would never change. But it isn't ethical to hand over the mental health and well being of another person over to someone who has absolutely no training, education or experience with treating mental illness and then call them a therapist. I don't understand why people aren't understanding that, and in the interest of being totally honest, I think it's ridiculous that I'm being put under fire for believing that.
