THIRTY THREE ✖ VOICE

[Private to the Admiral]

[Somewhere, a ways away from the communicator, you can probably hear a reedy verse of Rolling in the Deep trying to figure out a way to catch up to Charles, who sounds extremely exasperated and frustrated, but also like he's desperately trying to be polite even though he kinda hates you, boss man, because they're everywhere and they're never going to clean them all up by themselves.]

As Mr. Stark's evidently lost control of his project, I would appreciate some assistance cleaning up his mess to make sure no one got their hands on anything they shouldn't have.

[Public, after speaking with the Admiral]

The robots have all been rounded up and disposed of. I'd like to sincerely apologize for anyone harassed by them and assure you that an appropriate punishment has been worked out.

[ooc: And thus ends the robot infestation. Anyone who adopted the little critters, with the pre-discussed exception of Perry, will find their little friends have vanished, along with any components people might have cannibalized from them.]

...So people are willing to give people work to do here? You're willing to let us into laboratories?

[Birkin pulls off his classes. Taking a cue from Wesker, he's been wearing much thicker and more difficult to see through glasses. In this case, they're almost black.

It's his eyes you see.

exposure to the G-virus has left him stronger then your typical wet-noodle scientist, but it's also left it's marks. Namely his bright red almost catlike eyes.]

...Doctor William Birkin. Confused. I feel I should say.

A double phd. Genetics and Virology along with...[He waves a hand] A few years at John Hopkins but my wife was the doctor. I was seventeen, doing internships was the last thing on my mind when research in and of itself had a lot of interesting possibilities.

...I see.

The practical applications of regenerative viruses. Each virus, contains enough DNA to procreate and adapt naturally to it's environment. The ebola virus had just been discovered, and I made a hypothesis that if the negative traits of the virus were to be removed..

It's complex. Adapting the DNA of it, of any virus - to eventually...regrow a limb. Apply strength. Anything.

[Eyebrow raise] Whatever gave you that idea?

[He laughs a little softly] What gave me away? My attitude?

That's what I've gathered at least. I don't particularly see why, I did everything that I did in the name of science and the Umbrella corporation however.

[He shrugs]

[He smiles. It is...a soft, sad, bitter smile.]

They're murdering bastards. I devoted a good chunk of my life to their creations. If I'm honest with myself, it destroyed my wife, my child, and my family as well as me.

But, they did do wonders. The converse side of doing wonders, as you yourself seem to have made clear with this man Mr. Stark - is that they can do horrors as well.
