TWENTY FIVE ✖ SPAM/TELEPATHY
[Spam for Erik]
[By the fourth day, Charles wasn't sure how much longer he'd be able to handle this. He hadn't been able to work up the energy to fight back or scream when the Vanquish came to take him away the next time, just telling Erik he'd be okay, trying to just ignore it, pretend like nothing was happening, like this was all some horrible dream he'd wake up from. They'd dumped him back in the cell a while later, dazed, in pain, his throat raw and there was really no denying at this point that the split knuckles of his right hand were infected. Erik tried to tell him to get some sleep, and he wanted to, but it hurt and he couldn't do much better than close his eyes and try not to move his hand too much.
He'd finally settled for feverishly dozing on Erik's shoulder for what felt like an hour, maybe longer. He couldn't tell. But then everything sort of... shifted, or something, and when he cautiously cracked his eyes open, he saw stars. Stars. He was looking up at stars, and for a moment, all he could do was stare, wondering if this was just another hallucination, just another cruel trick of the people holding them prisoner.
But then he could hear, he could hear and feel Erik's thoughts, and the thoughts and minds of everyone else around him - so many people were hurt and tired and suffering, but they were being helped, they were all back, they hadn't been abandoned - and he wasn't sure if he wanted to laugh or sob. For the moment, he just sags into Erik, letting his mind settle comfortably against his friend's.]
I guess Toshiko came through after all.
[Telepathy Spam for Jean, Morgana, Arthur, Merlin, Steve, Wanda and Arkady (+ Tony)]
[Once he was in the infirmary, all he wanted to do, really, was sleep. But while he's having his injuries cleaned and treated, he's reaching out to find the people he cares about. His control's a little shaky, exhaustion and fever and now medication making him sloppier than usual - there's a sense of sorry to bother you and oh god please be okay and that hurts, when is this going to be over bleeding through at times before getting shoved firmly back behind psychic barriers - but he just needs to be sure that everyone was on board, no one had been left behind.]
Are you alright?
